Ingeciber S.A. Enhances Civil Engineering Productivity with the Release of CivilFEM® 2020 powered by Marc®
May 14, 2020
General purpose finite element software for civil, structural and geotechnical engineering.
Madrid, Spain – (May, 2020) – Ingeciber S.A., a specialist civil engineering Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) company with more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, today announced the new release of CivilFEM®2020, powered by Marc®.
CivilFEM® 2020 powered by Marc® introduces enhancements to our new pre-processing and post-processing tools that empower customers to solve the toughest design challenges for civil, structural and geotechnical engineering and to do more with simulation in less time.
Several new pre-processing tools have been included like the Indian steel library sections, several new geometry abilities and Mechanical cover in shells can be defined with different values for x/y direction and top/bottom reinforcement.
In terms of solver capabilities, we are pleased to highlight the addition of Damping on rotational springs, Result of temperature at integration points in structural analysis and Activation/Deactivation time for contacts.
“CivilFEM lowers the barriers to non-linear FEA for Structural and Civil Engineering by combining a very advanced nonlinear solver with a friendly easy-to-use Graphic Interface for a variety of important problems with single and multiple non-linearities.”
CivilFEM 2020 also offers great improvements in the post-processing, such us Interactive results scale plots, Parallelization during check/design process, new results types organization and various usability improvements. CivilFEM 2020, powered by MSC Software’s Marc nonlinear FEA solution, is available exclusively from Ingeciber and its distributors worldwide.
CivilFEM 2020 powered by Marc® is a very powerful and versatile program suitable for all the types of advanced analyses performed in all construction sectors, providing a rich set of tools and unique capabilities that streamline the creation of analysis models for Construction, Dams, Forensic Structural Analysis, Seismic design, Soil-structure interaction, Foundations, Tunnels, Rock and soil mechanic analyses, Skyscrapers, Geotechnics, Mining, Energy, Oil&Gas, Precast, Power Plants: Nuclear, Hydraulic… or any other Civil Engineering major infrastructure.
