Description:

Many problems faced by structural engineers are dynamic in nature. Structural response cannot be simply assessed by using static assumptions. As structures become lighter and more slender, existing loads increase the dynamic response of the system.

The nature of the problem may be the understanding of the resonant frequencies of your design and the key driving frequencies of different cases such as equipment rotational speed, wave loading, ground motion or vehicle passing frequency.

The problem can be analyzed with CivilFEM in both the frequency domain, obtaining the natural frequencies of the structure taking into account soil interaction and pre-stressing forces and the maximum response under dynamic loads, and in the time domain with linear and non-linear behavior.

The objective of this webinar is shedding light on the dynamic analysis problem and solving it successfully following simple steps using CivilFEM.
